Steel Bridges: The bulk of KARD’s total sales comes from steel bridges. KARD has fabricated steel for bridges for numerous states. We have fabricated numerous plate girders and wide flange beam bridges. These are all detailed, fabricated, shot blasted and painted in-house. We can arrange for galvanizing if required.
Bridge Components
Bearings:
KARD can provide steel rocker bearings as well as both simple and complex steel bearings to suit the needs of any project.
Expansion Joints:
KARD can fabricate most types of expansion joints: finger plate joints, strip seal, compression seal.
Miscellaneous Bridge Components:
KARD can provide miscellaneous components including drains, diaphragms, retro-fit plates and bridge railing.
Stop logs/FloodGates:
KARD can fabricate stop logs/floodgates. Normally these type of weldments must be held to tight tolerances and undergo stringent inspection by the owners.
